Hi guys - have been sick for a couple of days but here I am ready to share more cards for inspiration with you!...........I warn you it´s a looooooooooong post today ;)
Today´s theme is "Boys" & "Girls". Making cards for boys is one of my biggest challenges but with the new stamps from Hero Arts it has become more easy. Thinking about stamps as "Robot trio", "Going", "Joy ride" and this cute cling "Cars". That last one was a MUST HAVE from the moment I saw it.
For my first card I used an embossed piece of kraft using the cool embossing folder "Dot-matrix and Gridlock". Run it over with som Distress Ink (here "Walnut stain") and you will get a totally cool background for a boy-card!
The car cling is stamped with two different colors "Distress ink Fired brick" and "Distress ink Crushed Olive". For a little detail I added a little red car with glossy accents to my twine!
.......... and by the way ......"Dyt means Honk" :0)
...............And now for the girls!
When I make cards for girls they quite often gets very "girly" with pastel colors, bows and gems. Some girls are more into a totally different style. My teenage daughter Nina´s style is more cool:) Here a few ideas for cards for the "cool chicks" :)
I was very inspired by the fine new papers from BasicGrey "Life of the party". Here is an excellent opportunity to put together a cool design!
I've used stamps from "Life of the party Cutout", "Life of the party birthday" and from "Kiss from the sun".
