Today it´s the first of April. Did anyone make an April fool´s joke? Every year I´m planing to make an April fool of my husband but he seems to "see right through me" every time. I´m so bad at this.
Today´s card is a birthday card I made for this month challenge at the Hero Arts Blog! I have been playing with some of my favourite colors here - brown with white and light blue. I used the cling stamp "Life of the Party Dots" embossed in white for my background. I distressed it with "Broken china" and "Stormy sky".
I did some paper piecing with the beautiful flower from "Layered flowers" using Bo Bonny paper and Cork. I added a little glossy accents to the centre of the flower. The Ribbon is from Hero Arts, from May Arts and finally some twine.
The next card is another card for the same challenge using the embossed resist technique.
Supplies:
Hero Arts stamps: Flourish Background, Dots and Flowers and Birthday sayings
Ink: Distress ink "Chipped sapphire" and "Milled Lavender"
Other supplies: White embossing, Memento Markers and pearls.
Hope you enjoyed your visit ladies!
Have a great first of April !
Sanne
